| 生化机理 | Bendamustine Hydrochloride is a small molecule bifunctional DNA alkylating agent, combining a nitrogen mustard functionality with a purine-analog structure. The dense DNA-damaging functionality of Bendamustine differentiates it from other compounds used as antiproliferative agents, and these functionalities are thought to promote cell death through a variety of different pathways including apoptosis and mitotic catastrophe. Accordingly it has been indicated for use in treating proliferations and malignancies refractory to the effects of other DNA alkylators. Efficacy against chronic lymphocytic leukemia is particularly indicated with Bendamustine, presenting a potential intervention upon this notoriously variable and ubiquitous type of malignancy. |
