备注MC1568 is a selective HDAC inhibitor for HDAC1A with IC50 of 100 nM. It is 34-fold more selective for HDAC1A than HDAC1B.
生化机理MC1568 is a class II (IIa) histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor selective for HDAC4 and HDAC6 (IC50 = 220 nM). MC1568 exhibits tissue-selective inhibition between members of class II acetylases in vivo, particularly in skeletal muscle and the heart. MC1568 arrests myogenesis through the stabilization of myocyte enhancer factor 2D (MEF2D)-HDAC3/4 complex. Recent research showed that class II-specific HDACis may constitute a novel therapeutic strategy for improving the treatment of cancer.
